Analysis of Influencing Factors of Blood Collection at Fixed Blood Donation Points

Abstract

Objective To analyze the blood collection situation of fixed blood donation points in Changsha City, and to explore measures to improve the blood collection volume of fixed blood donation points. Methods Statistics on the number of people collecting blood, the number of days open, the area of blood donation points, and the number of blood collection places of fixed blood donation points in Changsha City from 2019 to 2022 were carried out to analyze the factors affecting the blood collection volume of fixed blood donation points. Results The maximum daily blood collection of the 16 blood donation points is 40 people/day, the minimum daily blood collection of the 16 blood donation points is 4 people/day, and The average daily blood collection of each fixed blood donation point is 10 people/day; Regression analysis shows: the average annual opening days of blood donation points and the number of blood collection sites have a great influence on the average daily blood collection person-times, the area of blood donation point had no effect on the average daily blood collection. The regression equation is as follows: average daily blood collection person-times=-8.636+1.636×Number of blood collection sites+0.043×average annual opening days. Conclusion The construction of fixed blood donation points should be incorporated into urban planning, the layout of blood donation points should be updated according to the development of cities, the number of blood collection points should be reasonably planned, the opening hours should be increased, and convenient blood donation services and comfortable blood donation experience should be provided for blood donors.
