Objective To investigate the prevalence and influence factors of Senile cataract in Changsha. Methods Randomly
sampling was used to select 1383 cases from the Database of Physical examination management center of Changsha
Central Hospital. The related influence factors of cataract were analyzed by One-Way ANOVA model and Logistic Regression
model. Results Age, Diabetes, Sun exposing, Long-term smoking are risk factors. Conclusions The Senile cataract is still a
high-occurrence eye disease. The Cataract prevalence rate of persons aged 50 or above in Changsha City is high. The Cataract
is influenced by many factors. We Should actively take preventive measures aimed at influencing factors, to reduce the harm of
senile cataract to the masses.
