Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of multidisciplinary team nursing combined with family support nursing on cognition, anxiety and social support level of family members of premature infants in neonatology department. Methods The clinical data were collected from 102 premature infants admitted to neonatology department of the hospital between January 2019 and November 2023. According to different nursing methods, they were divided into routine group (52 cases, routine nursing) and experimental group (50 cases, multidisciplinary team nursing combined with family support nursing). The qualification rate of cognition, psychological state [generalized anxiety disorder-7(GAD-7), patient health questionnaire-9(PHQ-9) ], social support [Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) ], adverse events after discharge and nursing satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups. Results At discharge, qualification rate of patients (primary caregivers) cognition in experimental group was higher than that in routine group (90.00% vs 75.00%, P<0.05). After intervention, scores of GAD-7 and PHQ-9 of patients (primary caregivers) in experimental group were lower than those in routine group. After intervention, scores of objective support, subjective support and social support utilization of patients (primary caregivers), and total score in experimental group were higher than those in routine group. The incidence of adverse events of premature infants after discharge in experimental group was lower than that in routine group (6.00% vs 21.15%, P<0.05), and nursing satisfaction of patients (primary caregivers) was higher than that in routine group (92.00% vs 76.92%, P<0.05). Conclusion Application effect of multidisciplinary team nursing combined with family support nursing is good in premature infants in neonatology department, which can improve cognition, psychological state and social support level of family members, reduce readmission risk after discharge and improve nursing satisfaction.
