Abstract:Objective To investigate the curative effect of modified Wuhu Decoction on acute asthmatic bronchitis infected with mycoplasma in children and its effect on Helper T cells (Th) 1/Th2 cytokines. Methods Prospective study. A total of 80 children with acute asthmatic bronchitis infected with phlegm-heat closed-lung mycoplasma treated in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method. Control group (40 cases) was treated with azithromycin anti-infection combined with ambroxol and pramicol Ling Shu for 1 week, observation group (40 cases) was treated with supplemented Wuhu Decoction for 1 week on the basis of control group. Compared the therapeutic effect of the two groups, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, normal body temperature recovery time, disappearance time of lung crackles, disappearance time of cough and asthma, interferon-γ (IFN-γ), Tumor necrosis faction-α (TNF-α), Th2 cytokines interleukin (IL) -4, IL-6, adverse reactions. Results The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the time of body temperature returning to normal, the time of lung rales disappearing, the time of cough and asthma disappearing was shorter than that of the control group. The serum IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-4 and IL-6 levels of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the serum difference of TCM syndrome score, IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-4 and IL-6 levels of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with Western medicine alone, adding Wuhu decoction can improve Th1/Th2 cytokine disorder in children with acute asthmatic bronchitis infected with phlegm-heat cloister-pulmonary mycoplasma and improve clinical efficacy.
